August 19 , 2010 – Patrick F. Sullivan speaking at Indiana Security and Privacy Network meeting
Patrick Sullivan, PhD, principal consultant with JBW Group International Inc, and Don M. Blumenthal, Principal, DMB Associates, LLC, will be speaking at the quarterly meeting of the Indiana Security and Privacy Network on Thursday, August 19, 2010. Their topic is “‘Reasonable Information Security’ and the Duty of Due Care.” Dr. Sullivan will partner with Mr. Blumenthal specifically speaking on information security risk assessment as a key element of ISO 27001. Mr. Blumenthal will speak on the responsibility for due care in information security. The meeting location is the Auditorium on the first floor in One America Tower, One American Square, Indianapolis, IN 46282.

September 9, 2010 - JBW Group speaking at Northeast Ohio ISSA meeting
JBW Group International consultants will be featured speakers at the September meeting of the Northeast Ohio chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) on Thursday, September 9, 2010. John B. Weaver and Patrick F. Sullivan will participate in a panel discussion along with Bill Clark, ISO Program Manager, and Kevin McGuirk, Security Project Manager, from Antares Management Solutions (Antares) entitled “ISO 27001 Implementation – A Case Study.” Antares recently received ISO 27001 certification and Mr. Clark and Mr. McGuirk were closely involved with the entire implementation and will share their insights.
